Confused HS senior

I declared as an engineering major at USC and UVA when I applied without having too much thought put into it since I always liked building and creating stuff. But this year in HS, i took a class called engineering graphics and this really turned me away from engineering. I absolutely do not like what we're doing in the class: projecting lines etc. I'm wondering if this class has any relevance to engineering at all. I'm planning to major in EE and can someone please give me some specifics to what some engineering classes do?

Also I don't know if I want to stick with engineering in the future and thus I don't know which school I should choose between UVA and USC. USC's engineering program is stronger than that of UVA and I also liked it's overall environment: weather, people, campus etc. because I'm also interested in business/econ, if i attend UVA, i can tranfer to their business school which is well-renowned. Besides that, I also enjoyed UVA's surrounding.

So right now, I'm in a pickle. Some suggestions would be appreciated

Engineering is much more than projecting lines. I'm in mechanical engineering and I use CAD software quite a bit. Mostly 3D CAD (SolidWorks is my preference), because it easier for me to create 3D objects and then let the program draw the 2D. But my work deals with so much more than messing with CAD drawings. Your first one to two years will be spent taking core classes like calculus and physics. Your intro to engineering classes may give you some engineering projects to do but you won't get a strong grasp of design until your junior and senior years. Engineering is tough and requires a lot of work but I really can't imagine doing anything else as a major.

I think USC's business school is very high up too. Also USC keeps getting better and better each year.
