Penn State application deadlines page (https://admissions.psu.edu/info/future/firstyear/deadlines/) says if you applied by November 30th you would hear back by Jan 31st. Would this be appicable for non Early Action folks as well ?
Early action had to apply by Nov 1st but we applied on Nov 14th and non Early Action, does that mean decision would be known by Jan 31st ?
Sorry have hard time seperating EA decision and Non EA decision for those who applied by Nov 30th.
If you applied after Nov 1st they may not inform you of the decision by Jan 31st. All those who applied on or by Nov 1st should hear by Jan 31st regardless of whether they indicated EA or not.

The dates listed for November 30 application and January 31st decision is for regular decision, not EA. So while EA should hear by Jan 31 (for those who were deferred), regular decision applicants SHOULD also hear by January 31st.
@jlhpsu thank you !! That was my understanding too that although we did NOT apply EA (before Nov 1st) but applied on Nov 14th (before the Nov 30th deadline) , we should hear something by Jan 31st . Fingers crossed 
Just FYI, DD applied EA, was in the deferral wave, still has heard nothing.
