Confused on "Entrepreneurship" and what it entitles

I’m really interested in getting a business major when I go to college (another 2 years), but when I say ‘Business Major’ I don’t really know what that entitles. More specifically, Entrepreneurship. Do I need to have a creative idea, or a startup to focus on entrepreneurship, and would that major actually help me out in finding a job or a career?

Which business major would be the the best to find jobs after college, and what highschool classes do you reccomend for wanting to pursue a business major in college?

Thanks

Entrepreneurship teaches you how to start your own business. Be your own boss,

Yeah I got that, but I meant would a entrepreneurship major only be helpful if I had a creative idea or startup planned? Would it be beneficial, even if I wans’t planning on starting my own business from scratch?

I think a key in entrepreneurship is higher risk-taking, iirc.

What business major would you want to pursue? Marketing, Management, Ops, Finance, Econ? Some schools offer specialized business programs or majors so it really depends on what you’re interested in. I would say as a sophomore, you probably don’t even know yet which is fine because that’s what your high school classes are for. Find out what areas you excel in whether it is math, science, the arts, etc. Depending on your hs experience you can make a decision on your major and colleges to apply to.

Even once you are in college most students shift around their majors and classes so nothing is ever set in stone (even after you graduate with your degree).

Yeah Exactly I don’t know what I want to do yet and I’m still trying to figure that out, thanks!
