Confused on this QstN: "Does [my] school or school district adjust grades for AP/IB/Honors courses?"

I’m about to send my ED app, and this is one of the school-specific questions on the Common App. Does this mean how the class is weighted for your GPA (in which case, my school gives 5.0 for an A for honors classes and 6.0 for AP), or does it mean how the class itself is graded? I’m slightly confused! D:
