Your definetly in at Penn State. That's the only school I know about!

SATS: 1320
low for the schools you're looking at

GPA 3.7- extenuating circumstance however, could be higher
everyone has those circumstances

you need more realistics schools. those are all (very big, nearly impossible for you) reaches.

Hey, i'm a wake student, and your sat is about average. Being asian will help you too. the gpa looks ok, so i wouldn't say its impossible. good luck

i'm sorry but being asian won't help you out

I think you need a safety school

I think you're pretty solid for Tech. I would bet that you'll get into at least two out of the others.

You are definately in for UT Austin...and being Asian will help you out there, i know that for sure. Your SAT is higher than average for UT, and you're out of state so thats a plus!!

Might want to apply to Holy Cross-January 15th deadline. Holy Cross is a very good liberal arts school that would be a match.

Its hard to get into UT, I wouldn't say he's definately in, most probably, but if he's not from Texas, and Va not an underepresented state, its not definate

In-state
U. Virginia - match
William and Mary--applied early. but deffered
Virginia Tech - safety

Out-state/Private

Uni. Michigan-Ann Arbor - reach
Uni. Texas-Austin - slight reach/match
Penn State-Uni Park - match
Tulane - match
Cornell(not sure though why im applying, hoping for a miracle) - reach
Wake Forest University - match

UT- out of state is pretty hard, but the OP has a shot.

I don't mean to get snippy, but in fact being of asian descent will help the OP. Wake isn't a very diverse place and while not admitting unqualified candidates because of ethnicity, it could be something that puts you over the top if you're borderline.

thanks for ur help...but do u have any suggestions for the colleges i should be applying to...btw my back up is james madison university.. and i already got accepted to knox college in illinois...
