I’m having problems with picking a major that I want to stick with. I have been at a community college for about 2 1/2 years hoping to transfer to a University soon. I’m currently majoring in Criminal Justice, but I just don’t feel as interested in it as much as I thought I would be.The classes that I have to take are awful, I hate them with a passion and I DREAD waking up every morning to go to class. I don’t like the area I live in, nor do I like the environment and the people who I attend college with. I wish I can just get up and leave already but I can’t… some of the classes that are required for me is a lot of BIOLOGY classes, which I absolutely HATE! I’m currently in a BIO class and its so boring, I don’t find it interesting, even if I TRY to put my mind into it, I just feel so lost??? Obviously since I can’t decide what I want to major in anymore. I also hate any type of math… I’m currently in a Statistics class and it is horrible! BIO and MATH are my LEAST FAVORITE subjects and I can’t go on with these classes anymore… I really need advice, I need guidance! PLEASE HELP
You spent the whole post talking about negative so lets switch to positive
What classes have you enjoyed? What is it about them you enjoyed? Was it the way they were taught, or the subject matter?
Everybody dislikes a few of the classes in their major. As part of my major I had to take a cognitive psychology course I disliked and studied a lot of sensation and perception stuff I wasn’t a huge fan of. So you may dislike the bio and math required in your major. But do you like the major overall and the other classes you have to take?
