Confused with eBanking?

<p>This probably isn't the correct forum, but I have no idea which one it would go in, sorry!</p>

<p>I recently opened a checking account for college at Bank of America that uses eBanking. It says on the website I can only use the ATM's and go paperless of I want to avoid the $9-ish fee per month. It says if I use a teller, I must pay the monthly fee? Does this mean, if I receive a scholarship check for college, that I must cash it through an ATM and not through a teller? </p>

<p>BoA is pretty crappy like that, i’ve heard. So glad i’m not with them. Someone else told me just yesterday that they charge you for talking to a teller.</p>
