Congrats to the Brown class of 2009!

who cares about a degree? it's just paper, isnt it? and isnt brown all about learning, not grades? good grades lead to degrees... not the learning involved. being a bum may not be so bad, after all. give it some thought... you may want to become one. lol

Without that degree, you'll get no job. So you think it's a good idea to sneak into classes and learn, but leave with no proof of any learning done, and have wasted 4 years without being able to get a job for it?

I can see you're truly going places, adam.

i am about 95% sure i am going to Brown, barring some adverse experience at ADOCH...what will adoch be like by the way?

I heard a few hundred kids will be there and that the parties are great :)

I'd have to be a fool to pass up a brown acceptance, particularily given their awesomeness in my field, computer science. Any other comp. sci brunonians here?

W00t for brown! See you all in september!

amor, dude, it's a joke... please. and, get real, i have no intentions of being a brown bum, unless of course i get admitted and truly flunk. life isnt all about a "job." yeah, it gives you money to put food on the table and stuff like that, but really, anyone with an education from brown, regardless of whether they have a degree, is worth hiring for a job. why should someone have to proove what they have learned? i learn because i want to, but not to show others that i have. it's a stupid matter about which to be arguing, anyway, it was all said for fun.

by the way, arent there millions of high school students that have jobs??? they dont even have high school degrees.

Minimum wage doesn't really compare to six figures a year.

So someone who went to high school the entire time but didn't get a diploma is just as likely to get a job as the one who got the diploma? K.

congrats on your acceptance to brown!

way to go kobcrew, u ganna go to ADOCH?

of course i am going to adoch! are you?

Dude... if you don't go to ADOCH... well...

You're just not cool.

Can I hitch a ride with anyone from California to ADOCH?

...Anyone?

Oh yeah, I'm driving to ADOCH and my dad would prefer that I had company, so if anyone between Syracuse and Albany NY would like a ride...PM me.

Yeah I'm going to ADOCH. I imagine I'll be the American who has to travel the farthest to attend lol...

I have to fly to Anchorage, then to Seattle..overnight there, then fly to Boston, bus from Boston to Providence...then start the whole thing over again on the way back. ADOCH will be so worth it though.

increase the peace.

i can't decide between brown and duke...i don't wanna give either up!...any help will be more than appreciated...
thanks!

Jesus thrives at Duke

^^^^ What?

i can't decide either...but in a somewhat different position from you guys, I got into Law in UK at LSE and UCL and I can't decide between them and Brown. Brown would be more fun than Law in London, but a Law degree from LSE or UCL just gives me better job opportunities

HELPPPPP cant decide

I got into Law at LSE too! But I chose Brown over LSE. London's too far away (I'm in Canada by the way) and they don't offer financial aid.
