Hi! I'm looking for an internship in congress for this summer. I'm a rising freshman in college and I'm having trouble finding internships for high school students (which I'm still considered). Does anyone know of any?

anyone???

bump bump bump

congress people generally have internship information on their websites… they usually give preference to people from their districts, but many of them are open to everyone.

alternatively, you could try working with a local politician, or in the local office of your representative.

Check the websites and email/call if you need to. The fact that you are in high school really doesn’t matter. I interned for my senator and we had one intern who was in high school (although it’s not common). If it’s a representative or a state senator or state representative, then having high school interns is not uncommon at all.
