Conservatory for Graduate School - Do They Require BMs?

Hi! I am currently studying music education as an undergrad, when I graduate I will receive a Bachelors of Science in Music Education instead of a Bachelor’s of Music in Music Education, does this matter when applying to conservatories for graduate school? Will it make me ineligible anywhere?

My undergrad degree isn’t even related to music and I’m going to grad school for composition.

It might depend on the school and the program but in general you should be totally fine. You’ll have a degree in music education, they’d be crazy to care, honestly…

No, you don’t need a BM to audition for grad programs in music. You do need to demonstrate proficiency on the grad level, so you will compete with applicants who have BMs, but not necessary. (Some kind of Bachelor degree is, of course, but you have that.)
