TCNJ/UMDNJ - 7 year BS/MD Program - approximately 40-45 acceptances each year

TCNJ tops U.S. News List of Best Colleges for the 18th consecutive year
[TCNJ tops U.S. News List of Best Colleges for 18th consecutive year; ranked highly for its commitment to undergrads](http://www.tcnj.edu/~pa/news/2009/usnews.htm)

Pretty good list of programs and links at perfectmed.tk under 6/7/8 year med programs too.

Probably the most complete list of BS/MD programs is right here:
[BA-MD Programs](Direct Medical Programs: BA/MD and BS/MD Programs)

I do not really get where is the ranking for these combined med programs. Also, does these programs have preference for in-state students. If NJ or BU med schools have 30-40 applicants acceptance, are the acceptance more from those state high schools ? I have started to look for the medical schools that I might be interested or reachable for me, and hence the basic questions…

CombinedProgram,
this is the best list known to me.

crazydude,
Nobody cares about ranking of these programs, just get into few then decide. It is worthwhile to have a wide range, including lots in your state at state schools.

Anyone know if a transfer sophomore student could be admitted into any of these accelerated medical programs? Thanks

There are other programs - you apply to them in sophpmore year. They are MedStar(t). The combined programs in this thread are only for HS graduates.

Are you talking about Wayne State’s program? I’m pretty sure that program is for high school seniors.

This is the most complete list of BS/MD programs by far: [Prestige Obsessed: BA/BS/MD List](Prestige Obsessed: 2020-2021 BA/BS/MD Programs Complete List)

Don’t forget USC Bacc MD!

does anyone know of the average ACT scores for any of these programs? I’ve tried looking at the websites, but some of them are pretty vague…thanks!

All of these BA/MD programs have an early application deadline (Around November)…

So do these programs count as early decision applications, where we can only apply to one program? Or can we apply to multiple programs?

They do not count as early action programs, though I know that Rice/Baylor’s Med program can be early action, specifically to that program. Hope it helps!

Is there a Brown PLME thread?

If not, can anyone answer some questions about it?
Is there a significant advantage for doing ED for Brown PLME? If I go to PLME, do I have to major in chemistry, biology, etc. for undergrad or can I major in something else like a humanity?

USC is no longer going to offer a Bacc/Md program in the future. This was the last year.

[The Perfect Med](http://www.theperfectmed.com) has a list of ba/md programs and is run by friends of mine who have gotten into various ba/md programs.

They also offer essay editing, interview prep, etc specifically for students who are interested in applying to these programs. While definitely not for everyone and can be pricey, I can say from experience they are pretty great at working with people and have worked with students who have successfully gotten into a number of ba/md programs.

What do you all think of U of Rochester REMS?

It is virtually impossible to apply to all of the following BS/MD programs. So can I have some people’s thoughts on which ones to eliminate?
