If I am a Bryn Mawr student, and I take a course at another college that is also a member of The Quaker consortium ( Swarthmore, Haverford, Penn):

Do I merely get the credit for that course on my Bryn Mawr transcript? Or is the grade for that course recorded on my Bryn Mawr transcript and figured into the Bryn Mawr GPA reported by the Bryn Mawr registrar on my Bryn Mawr transcript?

According to the 2008-2009 BMC and Haverford Catalogs, numerical grades at BMC, Haverford, Swarthmore and Penn are counted for BMC and Haverford GPA.

All courses taken through the Quaker Consortium agreement are reported on our transcript and the grades factor into our GPA. The transcript also shows where the course was taken, albeit rather subtly as a single letter in the course number.

This only applies to courses taken through the Quaker agreement. Courses taken at Quaker colleges outside of the Quaker agreement, e.g. summer courses, are treated as transfer credit and do not factor into our GPA.
