construction management

I am interested in becoming a construction manager and i was wondering what schools would best prepare me to become one. Which schools offer a bachelor in construction science or engineering?

Cal Poly SLO is widely known for their construction management program.

Many construction management firms hire civil engineering and mechanical engineering graduates as well. From what I’ve seen, there are more people with engineering backgrounds in CM then CM graduates.

Take a look at UIUC, Berkeley, Stanford, UT Austin, Michigan Ann Arbor, Texas A&M, Columbia and UC Boulder.

Should note that those schools listed are for engineering. If you think you can handle the rigors of a civil engineering program, I would encourage you to take that route.
