Contact admissions about AP test error and fiRST semester success?

I had thought that the early action decision would not be made until after the first semester grades were sent in, and while i did do well in first quarter, I did even better second quarter, and think I will do well on my midterms, so I thought it would further put the odds in my favor. I had also been planning on sending an email right after midterms, saying i just had my best quarter ever in high school, and updating them on my ec's: Joined economics club in its first year of existence, and am currently ranked number 4 on the Stock Market Game competition. Should i email them earlier, like now?

Also, I messed up with the ap test scores section on this application's commonapp. It was my first one, and I guess i hadn't read the fine print, so I only wrote down the ap and subject tests that I had already taken, and not the ap tests I was planning on taking this spring. However, on my schedule for this year I did write my ap courses I am taking this year, of which all were on it except the AP latin test(I am in Latin 3, the highest, but it doesn't say AP) SHould I write an email listing the ap tests I will be taking this spring? Thanks!

Hey! I’m a current UNC student so I may be able to help. I don’t really think sending an email about your ECs and new grades is a good idea, as they probably will not take it into account because the decisions will be released soon. They may not take the AP test issue into account either, but they’ll probably see that you have AP classes on your senior transcript, so I wouldn’t worry too much. However, I’d go to the UNC Admissions Blog website to ask a question in one of the posts, where an admissions officer will answer. Best of luck!

Well. My son didn’t do that either but i would thought that a college like UNC would assume that if you are taking the class you will be taking the exam. Unless you get deferred I would not do anything.
