<p>i understand that the instructions say that we will not be able to wear contacts during beast. however, it also says to not even wear them when we come. does this mean that i cannot even bring them? because after beast i plan to pop them right in and i don’t want to have to wait for parent’s weekend or have any potential problems if they are sent by mail. if i do bring them, can i wear them at inprocessing? and if i bring them, will they be well taken care of?</p>
<p>Bring your case with them inside, and any extra contacts you want to bring. Put them in your backpack, and let the cadre take it on inprocessing. You'll get it back once basic is over.</p>

<p>i heard that some kids were allowed to wear them during first beast, so that is why i was asking. but now that i know to not wear them, i won't.</p>
<p>can we just buy any black eyeglass strap from anywhere or does it need to be any particular kind for the glasses they will give us for BCT?</p>
<p>I guess dorky eyeglass straps will complete the image for us with BCGs and no hair. :)</p>
