<p>So UC asks for two essays. One about your surroundings, and one about your extracurricular activity. </p>
<p>Does the SAME person read these two essays? Because my second essay is sort of a continuation of the first one.. Should I change that? Is it alright?</p>

<p>Even if the same person reads the essays, you can’t know for sure which one they’ll read first. And, certainly it’s possible someone might read just one of the two essays. Don’t repeat yourself, but also don’t set things up so someone reading just one essay completely on its own won’t understand what you’re talking about.</p>
