<p>Who else was confused yet excited about the recent baking mailing? Just wondering, though I found it quite funny.</p>

<p>i think they're trying to just hold us off, since we're all likely to become violent if they don't tell us our rooming assignments soon, lol. i haven't made them yet but i hear they're good.</p>

<p>YUM! Those cookies were pretty good. Buttery. I'm baking-inept, so the very fact that they turned out decently earns H a star in my book.</p>

<p>I got my cookies today! I was wondering why they needed to send me a dining services brochure in a box.... I went all out, icing and everything, then let my family try them.</p>

<p>I got them too. Though i was a bit skeptical about using the mix after it had been transported from cambridge to the uk! and my sister thought it was parmesan cheese at first...not that that would put you off!</p>

<p>Unfortunately i put too much water in the mix and it turned into a horrible sticky goo-dough thing so i thought it would be better to minimize my chances of getting food poisining/death by chucking it.</p>

<p>...but i'm sure they taste very nice (when baked by people who are not me)</p>

<p>Though come on already with the rooming assignments it's absolutely killing me that they're taking so long. Oh well maybe it'll come tomorrow, kids in Boston already got theirs so us NJ kids ought to get them soon :D </p>

<p>No cookies . . . no rooming assignment . . . and the guy from the UK has already gotten his. This is starting to get look bad. I assume that the bizarrely late rooming notification is to head off protests from the frosh who get the broom-closet-sized rooms. Using that rationale, one might assume that the later the notification, the worse the room?!</p>

<p>Well I got mine today from NJ, four roomates, pretty sweet, and I think it's based on distance from MA because Cambridge and Boston kids got them yesterday and today it spread to the northeast, so hopefully you'll get yours soon :D</p>
