Cooper Union and Afterwards?

Hi all,

I'm a junior interested in Aerospace Engineering and I live in NYC so of course Cooper Union will be an option for me. My grades aren't strong enough that I have an amazing chance of getting into MIT but they aren't weak that I will be deferred immediately. So ED-ing to Cooper Union is still a decision for me. That's why I'm asking you about the job opportunities and career paths? I plan to get my Masters in Aerospace Engineering as well as have a degree in business or finance to make my resume just that much more impressive.

Can you tell me how I would fare on this career path if I got in and went to Cooper Union? I would like to be someone who could be financially stable because my parents are quite old already and getting a Masters will be expensive no doubt.

Thanks.

Cooper is such a great school you do not have to worry about job prospects from it.

Cooper’s very prestigious. But if you’re looking to bolster your resume, internships and work experience are both massively more eye-catching than extra business and/or finance degrees, especially in engineering.
