core textbook info

Current students,

what textbooks do Ph1c, Ph2a (quantum mechanics), Ph2b (statistical physics), Ma1c, Ma2a and Ma2b use for non physics and math majors?

Also, which Ph and Ma track do you recommend for bio majors -- practical or analytical ??
Thanks.

You shouldn’t worry about books now - the booklists are constantly revised each year.
However, if you would like to peruse the booklists for this year’s courses, check out the registrar’s website at: regis.caltech.edu
For bio majors, I would definitely recommend practical. That’s what I’m taking this term. (Analytic - not Analytical - is fine as well if the student enjoys physics or math. It depends on the person, really.)

^Thanks DarkLycan. I did check the registrar, but some info was for current caltech members only. I wanted to scan the books a bit.
