^Thanks for the reply! :)

Umm… anybody ? if you don’t mind ?

@Ssur: I don’t have an exact number, but I’d estimate perhaps 10% of the total Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholars are international. This is a really rough estimate based on names of A&S Scholars, so don’t take it at face value. However, there definitely ARE scholars. (By the way, that would be statistically about 15-ish a year.)

VandyEnglish2014 Is the March 4 you mention the date you heard you were a CV scholar? Did it come with your admissions acceptance letter? And is it correct that there is no interview or “competition weekend” for the CV scholarship, even though the Ingram involves a mandatory weekend competition? And is CV more about academics or leadership, (obviously both) but which do see as weighted more?

I found out that I was a CV scholar on March 5, via email, before I was otherwise notified of my admission status. No interview, at least for me. I have no clue whether CV is more geared toward academics or leadership.

The CV scholars were notified last year from March 5-13, physical letters all sent out on the 5th but some people didn’t get an email until the 13th (like me). No interviews. If it’s the same as last year, they’ll post that they’re sending out the info on the Vandy blog. (I think it’s insidevandy.com)

Does anyone know if there is there a thread for the Class of 2018 CV applicants?

Why don’t you make one love2bnana? Waiting to hear as well

Perch1024- I am not sure how to do that…

There is one. If you scroll down the list, you will see one with the last post dated January 20th.
