Cornell Application Reading Process

So i just i have a quick question,

Since the application makes you write another supplement essay for your alternate choice college, does that mean that each College Admission reads their own supplement.

To be more clear,
Let's say I am applying to College X and alternate College Y at Cornell.

Would the Admissions at College X just read my supplement essay for College X and same applies to College Y
-or-
does the general Cornell Admission just read both and decide?

Reason I m asking is cuz my two supplements essays are practically the same, and if they read both of them together, I would need to do some changes to one of them.

I believe that College x would only read x and college y would only read y. I am not 100% sure, you might want to call them up to confirm.

Each college handles its own admissions, so they will most likely just read the essay that concerns them. However, it said on the Cornell website that the selected college receives your whole application with both essays, and if they want to read both or see where else you’re applying then they can choose to read both
