If youre an architecture student at Cornell, it'd be great
if you can post your high school stats on here!

Oh and...I wanted to do architecture summer program at Cornell,
but we are trying to save a lot of money, so I won't be able to
attend the program. I know the summer program looks better on
the application, but I was wondering if anyone knows how I could
get involved with anything architecture related during summer w/o
having to spend a lot of money.

Has anyone done something architecture related outside of college
summer program?

I know a handful of people have gotten jobs in construction firms and architectural firms doing various random jobs in them. I don't know anyone that has gotten a job with someone who works in architecture preservation, but that could be another option. But otherwise a lot of other things can be architecture related.. sketching, photography, reading, I'm sure you can come up with a list of those things.

i'm not sure if this answers your question fully, but my friend was accepted into Cornell for Architecture 2 years ago. I know her weighted GPA was 4.3, unweighted around high 3.8s or low 3.9s and SAT score was 1400 on the old, 2140 on the new. but she also said

"For architecture major, these are just numbers, like age requirements, not important, only if you're below their lower limit. The portfolio and interview are the MAJOR factors into your acceptance."

Hey, I got accepted into the architecture program at Cornell this week (what a surprise!!! They did it three weeks early for some reason). So here are my stats and general applicant info:
Math - 730
Reading - 730
Writing - 690
ACT - 32
GPA Unweighted - 3.98
GPA weighted - 4.93
Portfolio - artwork from a few art classes I took freshman/sophomore year. Plus some AutoCAD from my tech studies class.
I'm Hispanic, if that means anything.
I had an architect and a regular alumni interview me. Compared with other interviews, they went unusually well.

I got in early decision (hopefully this response isn't "late".. eh)

SAT: 2280
SATIIs: Math II 760, Lit 710, World 800.
APs: Calc AB 4, Physics Mechanics 4, Physics E&M 4, US govt 4, world history 5, language and comp 5, art history 5, 2d design 5, lit and comp, psychology, drawing portfolio.
GPA: 3.83, 4.63
No architecture work experience, attended a summer program (not at Cornell). I've been taking art classes since I was 8 and won a few insignificant art awards. I work at a gallery part time and had a really, really shiny portfolio. I interviewed on campus, brought in a ton of artwork and totally failed at the "bigger question" questions about why I want to pursue architecture.. good times.
