Cornell architecture

Well, i'm a high school senior who just applied for Cornell Arch.
I was wondering how important the portfolio was; i'm not saying my portfolio's bad but it's not good. I started it 2 months ago because that's when i decided to do Architecture. I also have an interview coming up.

I have decent sat's (1940 or 1290 in math and reading) and my GPA is a 3.9 .

I know i don't have a great chance of getting in but i wanted to see other peoples opinions.

Since my portfolio isn't strong, will the prevent me from getting in?

Thanks for the responses.

its going to be a reach unless you have great EC’s and great recommendations and great essays. It is still possible. I give you a 25% chance of getting in. Good luck!

haha. thanks man, i’ll take w/e i can get.

Reach, then again, Cornell (and VA Tech, in the context of architecture) are reaches for anyone.

:/ thought so. How about schools like Syracuse, Polytechnic, Pratt institute and Parsons?

bump !! any responses are welcome !
