I am currently a sophomore at stony brook. i hate it here. the social life sucks and the academics are lacking (especially in the math and sciences program). I am considering transferring to either SUNY Binghamton or Cornell.

I want to major in chemistry and eventually go on to medical school.

these are my stats:

gpa: 3.5
(I have C in bio 1, a W in bio 2 (which i took before bio 1), and a C in orgo 1. everything else was all a's and a-'s).
I do have extracurricular activities, I volunteer at the hospital and I've been continuously employed. At one point I held two jobs while taking 19 credits.
I want to major in chemistry.

I went to a prestigious high school, Stuyvesant. i had an 87 avg with a 2020 SAT (640v, 670m, 710w).

I find it hard to do focus here and I don't feel challenged academically. I know my grades arent stellar especially for premed, but its not because I cant handle the workload. Its difficult to concentrate when there are so many kids in your bio class that people who come late have to watch the lecture as a "simulcast" in a dif lecture hall.

What are my chances?
