Cornell Class of 2020 Early Decision Discussion

Me! (Computer Science) lol I’ve had a CC account for two years and am still a new member. I need to stop stalking

I’ve had mine for about 1.5 years now. i became a senior member about 4 or 5 months ago lol

Does anyone have any input on why decisions are coming out 5 days earlier than usual? I can come up with a number of reasons but nothing concrete.

could be that they expanded their staff. there could be less applications… idk, seems quite a lot of schools are releasing on earlier dates this year. but for cornell, it’s only 1 day ahead from last year. perhaps they found more effective methods

they came out on the 11th last year @RSalvatierra

I thought they came out on the 15th. My bad.

I am starting to believe that I am posting just to keep the conversation flowing. :))

@RSalvatierra well whatever will keep you calm and relaxed, that’s what we’re all here for, to support each other and hope for the best

the golden date for most colleges used to be the 15th but over the past few years colleges have been releasing earlier and earlier

what do you guys do during school to distract from decisions?

does anyone know the approximate size of the environmental science and sustainability? or just how many people are accepted each year?

@jalaska Me. I applied as a BioMed major, but I’m thinking of doubling in Electrical and Biomedical.

Read and spend time with my girlfriend. @Homsar X_X

@RSalvatierra It’s all good. I feel the same way… I just want something to put energy into other than work and stressing out.
