It’s not supposed to be a laugh out loud kind of thing, just something to stray so far from reality that we have to find it funny from that respect. If we replace the word “shrek” with your average everyday Joe Schmoe then there wouldn’t be too much to laugh at.
Either way though, it’s still a fun way of ruining people’s childhoods
