Does anyone have any estimates on how much aid a person will get with a 60,000/yr family income with one son already attending college? Thanks

any estimates at all?

um it depends also on like how much your family owns in properties, state of your current bank account, etc., etc.

my family has like 50,000 per year but owns some other properties. we pay $14,000 per year.

Assets under 100K and income below 60K get the entire cost of attendance covered w/o parental contribution. All you pay is the summer contribution (about 2K I think) and work study. Anything with income or assets above that really depends on how much of either of those you have; I’m guessing you’d probably have to pay your EFC (which shouldn’t be that high considering you have a sibling in college unless you have a lot of properties or investments like tmk39) and have the rest met w/o loans.

thanks a lot for the info! Im pretty sure my assets are under 100k. I used an EFC calculator and it says around 4k EFC. Didnt Cornell change it to under 70-75k income to get entire cost of attendance covered w/o parental contribution.
