Cornell or Berkeley?

That's relative; I saw some surveys from last years Cornell's grads and most of the students from ECE and Comp Sc were either going to Apple, Microsoft, Intel, Google, AMD etc with mean and median starting salaries of 60,00ish or to Stanford, Harvard, etc for grad school.

Is it true that Berkeley graduates get paid more when they start working on a job or they start get paid at a higher pay rate than Cornell graduates?

I would choose Cornell. It is, after all, an Ivy, and you'll find more grad school and job opportunities.

Thanks jk_91 for the reply.. Do you know about the pay rate though?? or anyone?

Not sure about Cornell, but this site should serve you well for Berkeley: Career Center - What Can I Do With a Major In..?

It has a rundown of the average salary for each major after graduation (starting salaries) and the employer and job title.

edit: I didn't see that you were a computer science major. In that case, Berkeley is a great choice because of its strong engineering program. In fact, electrical engineering & computer science majors (they're together) has the highest starting salary of any major in Berkeley at $67,394. I don't think you'll have any problems finding good employment with either school.

@jk_91: My major isn't Computer Science. It's computer engineering.. :) And thank you for your response..
