currently a soph in ilr, applied as transfer last fall; following this thread for a friend. initiated changing to ordered was pretty much a guarantee admit but just staying initiated does not mean a rejection. first Tuesday is notorious for being rejections. GLTA
Does anyone have tried pin trick? I heard it before but have not tried yet
How soon beforehand do you think it would change to ordered?
A week before? A day?
Pin trick didnāt work for me, I guess that means my decision wonāt be out tomorrow.
The pin trick is not working anymore. It has been patched like one or two years ago.
For the ordered status, i think it can be at any time, even after you got accepted
Hey where do I find the ordered/initiated status update? I donāt see it in either portalā¦
it should be on your To Do List for your Cornell transfer financial aid portal. itās the default page when you navigate to the FA portal.
well maybe next week then
I donāt think there is any announcement yet. Does anyone get admitted yet?
If this tuesday is notorious for rejections, anyone get rejected yet?
Also, if you didnāt apply for financial aid, that would probably negate the financial portal trick, huh
I donāt think they will post decision until noon or afternoon.
Anyoneās portal got updated or changed?
Checklist still there
same, nothing has changed, I donāt think anything is coming out today
No decisions today?
According to a livechat cornell admissions person, they are not releasing today.
Did they say when they will start then? Next Tuesday?
Also, does everyone elseās portal say āYou will hear from us in mid-November on a rolling basisā ? This makes me hopeful that it wonāt be too many more weeks.
Yeah, traditionally in the past decisions were released on the third Tuesday of November so we should definitely begin hearing by next week at the latest
Yeah thatās what Iāve read too. I applied to CALS though and it seems like their decisions are always out later, sometimes mid-December. Iām worried about that because my current school starts back on January 4th.
