Cornell Sun?

What do you need to do in order to start writing for it?
Is there any other popular newspaper for which it'd be good to work?

in the fall, the Sun will advertise for new writers...there is a compet (competitive) time when you will be assigned subjects...my son was assigned to cover a Quilting Meeting, and two other really varied topics his first year...if you are interested, there is a very good chance you will write for the paper...the other paper is the University's Chronicle. which is the administration's paper - I'm not sure if students write for it...there are also a few 'niche" papers"

I'm checking in with the Sun's offices first thing after settling into my room.

Thanks memphismom! :)

how competitive is the process? are there a lot of applicants?

if you apply, you can write.

"if you apply, you can write."

a deadly error that makes the Sun the worst paper in the Ivy League

If you apply, there is a good chance that you would be accepted, as long as you love what you do.
