Seems like the financial aid office has been really overwhelmed this admissions cycle…freshman and transfers. Hope you hear good news soon!
mine’s there too
Has anyone from Dyson received their decision?
I have
I’m assuming from the smiley face you got in? When did you hear back, and are you a sophomore or junior transfer?
Sorry, I think I mentioned before all my stats too (in case you find it helpful).
I got in 2 weeks ago (non-TO).
I am currently a sophomore, will be a junior at Cornell. I still haven’t heard back from financial aid office though
Wait, so if you didn’t submit FAFSA/fin aid info, would that hurt your chance of getting accepted?
No it’s 2 different departments. I know people who submitted that stuff after getting accepted.
I was under the impression that transfer move in date was Aug 19. Then I called Statler Hotel and they have Aug 15-30 blocked off because they don’t yet have a commitment from the school as to move in dates for anyone. What are you hearing?
Ohh okay. I’m wondering if I should submit my FAFSA/fin aid now/within the next few days or just wait to submit it all after I get in, IF I get in. Would submitting now delay my decision release?
is cornell anyone else’s last hope? all I’ve gotten is one waitlist and two rejections and Cornell is my last hope man…
me too, 3 rejections and one waitlist
I got one rejection from another ivy so now I’m waiting on Cornell. I applied to other schools as well that aren’t ivies
I doubt very much that they even look at the fin aid applications until after acceptance. It doesn’t make sense to me that the fin aid office would do any work on the applications of many thousands of students that won’t even be allowed to attend.
Dyson- checklist is still there
same here… :(((
Samee. They usually start going off around 10 but today :(((((
good luck to everyone that’ll receive a decision today! I really hope we all hear good news, we’ve worked so hard
Oh shoot checklist finally disappeared!!! CAS Non-TO
Mine just disappeared. HumEc, Non-TO
