If you got a better vibe at Cornell, you should go there! Instincts are good, man.

I just wanted to give Durham a shout out cause I hate that our town has a bad rap - I happen to love Durham! :D

I applied to both and got waitlisted to both (ouch...i know). I'd go to Duke hands down over Cornell...don't get me wrong...both schools are amazing but Duke sends an INCREDIBLE amount of people off to medical, law and business schools. If you want to go to grad school, not only will Duke prepare you better, but I personally like the campus more. What you should really do is visit both of the campuses. See which one you get a better feel for and go there. It's where YOU want to go...so go wherever you feel most comfortable...there's no doubt they're both awesome schools!

All i have to say about Duke is: 62-54. Go home reddick

concerning economics?

Ithaca is the perfect college town... having studied there for three weeks over the summer, I fell in love with it.. it's gorgeous and perfect for any college studnt.

However, Ithaca is also very far away from everything and anything.. Duke isn't really in the thick of things either, but you have to admit that Duke has beautiful weather and an excellent basketball team.. tehre is something about going to a school that has a team at the top of it's field, really adds to the whole pride issue.. it's a very tough choice, I would probably lean towards DUke though at Cornell you would probably get more laid back types and it is, after all, an ivy which feels good just to know that youre going to an ivy!

Both amazing campuses. Cornell has waterfalls, Duke has great weather. Social lives are different, duke a little more laidback, Cornell seems more fun loving but people are also more stressed about studying. The education at both schools are great, but Cornell certainly has the better engineering, business program. Duke likely has stronger premed/bio, but cornells is also very strong.
