Cornell vs. Georgetown (Transfer)

<p>Hey guys, </p>

<p>So, I am a transfer student who has been accepted to Cornell and Georgetown. I have been accepted into SFS at Georgetown and ILR at Cornell. I always find it helpful to read multiple points of view, so I decided to create this thread to hear some ideas! I want to go to law school after graduation. I was an IR major at my last school, and I know DC very well. People have told me I'd be stupid not to go to Georgetown when my career interests revolve around political science/law. Haha they might be right, but I find that most people would say the same about giving up an Ivy League education...when others say "it is just a label, go where you feel comfortable." I see both sides of the argument, but I would love to hear points from others as well. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it!</p>

<p>Which one is cheaper ? Can your post the cost of attendance for both. I would probably go with Georgetown if both cost the same.</p>

<p>Another vote for Georgetown SFS.</p>

<p>If you wish to work in Politics/Diplomacy, this is a no-brainer! Go to the SFS. If you want to work in a corporate setting, I give the edge to Cornell’s ILR. As far as Law schools go, both the SFS and ILR are very effective.</p>

<p>If you don’t mind, would you to share how did you get accepted by both of them? I am considering to transfer to these exact two schools as well. </p>

<p>I agree, I think you’d be able to get into a great law school from either school.</p>
