I got into both of these schools and I have no idea which to pick! Cornell is much closer to where I live and I'll probably get more aid there... plus it's ranked higher. But I just love berkeley! The campus and the atmosphere... I just don't know what to do!

Someone help me out?

Don't go by rank. Thats my advice. Most people going to both universities are amazing. I'm sure you'll be around amazing students and faculties in both places.

Money seems to be the issue with many people. When its tied like that, I'd go to the school offering the most aid. In this case I have no idea who offers more money. Don't know if Cornell is that amazing with aid however :(

Go to Berkeley unless the aid turns out to be substantially different.

Since you love Berkeley, you should go there unless your financial aid package is absolutely unacceptable. Yes, money is important, but if your heart is set on Berkeley, go for it. It seems like you're leaning toward Cornell simply because of convenience and not because you think it's the right place for you. Berkeley is an incredible school, and you'll really be able to thrive there if you take advantage of everything that's offered. Good luck!
