I'm stuck between Cornell (AEM) and USC (Marshall)...I've had thoughts of going into i banking but i'm not set on it...i'm from cali so the weather is important...i need to make a decision ASAP so any feedback would be great!!!

Tough choice! Cornell has more prestige back east, but USC has great alumni connections in CA. You should visit both and see which one feels the most comfortable to you.

Like ricegal said, Cornell has better connections on the east, USC on the west.

Either way, a degree from both schools would look very good.

my friend last year who chose cornell over usc loves it there. he's from cali, and he said that the eastcoast opened him up to many new things that he was unaware of, and doesn't regret his decision at all. he's also doing quite well academically.

If you want to live on the west coast after graduation, choose USC. If you want to work on the east, choose Cornell. You can get into ibanking from either school, although Cornell would lead you towards NYC, while USC would lead you towards SF (or LA, obviously).

I know thats a tough decision to make coming out of high-school, but that is really the best way to differentiate the schools.

Other factors to consider are weather, school spirit, and general fit. I assume you have visited both?

Another thing to consider is that Marshall is a large undergraduate school (3000+ students), offering courses in every imaginable discipline related to business - while AEM is a much smaller program that falls within Cornell's "farm school".
