Cornell

I am looking at some engineering school to apply to and does anyone have any info about Cornell i have only recieved their packet and did some research, but i know there is more then that.

Cornell has a fantastic engineering program, best in the Ivy League. What do you want to know about it?

Smitty: Cornell's engineering program is excellent. If you go to Cornell, make sure you're up for a real challenge. Academically, it's probably the most challenging of the Ivy's.

Cornell is located in a great college town. The area is absolutely gorgeous, but very secluded.

You may also wish to take a look at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Penn State, Lehigh, Lafayette and Bucknell in that part of the country. Lehigh, Lafayette and Bucknell are way smaller than
than Cornell, so if you're looking for a larger school, you probably won't like them. Otherwise, they're terrific engineering schools where you'll get plenty of personal attention.

Beware of the grading though. My sister is a junior there right now and she tells me that the profs can be very harsh at times. There is a lot of GPA deflation.
