Corporate sponsored MBA

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows a corporate sponsored MBA program, which can eliminate a significant portion of the tuition. I know MIT LFM has it, but not sure if other school has similar programs. Thanks!

IF you work for a major corporation, many of them have tuition reimbursement/ remission programs which will cover the cost of your MBA. Some will have limits on the amount of tuition that is reimbursed each year (~5000) while others will pay the full freight (my company reeimbursed all of the tuition for my graduate school).

Some companies have Executive MBA programs (EMBAs) for middle/ senior level managers where the company will pay the full tuition for the employee to attend.

However, you often are required to use your own time--nights and weekends. Not many cos. pay for you to go away for two years. Going PT is a struggle.

My company is only willing to pay for part-time MBA and they do reimburse part of the tuitions. However, I am looking for full time MBA, in which the school link you to a corporate sponsor. Thanks.

I am only aware of the sponsorship models mentioned by sybbie, where one's own company pays part or all of the cost. Some programs do have official corporate partners beyond each individual student's sponsorship, but that support is usually by companies that send many students through the system & the support may be monatary (to the program, not a non-employee student) &/or curriculum guidance.....however, this wouldn't be considered sponsorship of other non-employees as you've (I think) alluded.

ps....agree that part-time programs are difficult to manage time-wise. I did about half an MBA program part-time, but with work commitments, increase in travel, and growing family, the PT option lost its luster. I switched over to an executive program meeting on Fridays & Saturdays....this was much more managable.....still took me a few years.
