<p>I had filled out the CSS Profile for 3 schools but used estimates only because the deadline was approaching and the taxes weren't going to be filled before then. Well my parents just filled, I made corrections on the FAFSA. Now I just need to make the corrections on the CSS Profile. How do I do this? Step-by-step guide would be nice, that got me through making corrections on the FAFSA to add more schools. Thanks in advance.</p>
<p>We were told to print out the Profile that was submitted to the college...then make corrections by hand (we wrote them in red ink and starred the items that were corrected). We sent the corrected by hand Profile along with a cover letter to the colleges. We only have one left to do...and that school participates in IDOC. We are wondering if we need to make the corrections this way as the school will be getting our tax forms. We will be calling them on Tuesday to ask this question. BTW...if you're not sure about handwriting the corrections to the Profile, call the finaid departments at your schools and ask...that is what we did.</p>

<p>We did the corrections by hand and mailed them directly to the colleges.</p>
<p>I did the same thing as thumper. It is better to be safe than sorry.</p>
