that makes sense, most people from my school who did cosmos did it summer before 11th so i was wondering if, with good essays and a 4.0, it would be likely for me to make it this year, but then again I haven’t won any science fair or anything so im not so sure
that’s pretty miniscule, considering how many people cosmos accepts, i didn’t know it was that small a percentage, but that’s good at the same time, giving upperclassmen an opportunity, but i was wondering with good essays, a 4.0, and stem-related extracurriculars, is my likelihood of getting in good or bad?
The waiting is the hard part. I am in the same boat. All we can do is be patient, and have plan B, C, D in place for summer. Good luck!
Yes, and be proud of yourselves for getting the application done and all the other things you do!!
thank you! good luck to you too! also, do you have any ideas for the “plan a b c and d” for summer because not a lot of programs accept freshmen so im struggling to fidn what to do during summer on the high chance i wont get into cosmos
My backup plans include applying to other summer programs (that are not as selective), registering for summer classes at a local community college, applying for internship at local research institutes, or summer jobs like lifeguard and camp counselor. Some programs do have age/grade requirements. I am sure there are some that accept freshmen. Good luck.
does anyone know how competitive the ucsd machine learning ai cluster is?
Today is the day! Good luck to everyone.
for real
Best of luck!
sdnfdnfjkdnfj i dont have my emaillllll
Any one hear from them yet? I haven’t received anything
not me either
I got in! you have to check on their portal
My portal still says “In Review”
in review probably means rejected right ;-;;;
No, last year when I was rejected it said that, this year it just says admitted. I think they might be taking some time to roll out decisions
which cluster did you apply for?
Congratulations mate!
for real?
