COSMOS or other program?

Hi, I’m seeking advice on what program to choose this summer. I’m a rising senior and definitely looking to apply to very selective colleges. This summer I was accepted into the UCD cluster 8: Chemistry of Life with a very generous financial aid package. I also was accepted into a summer internship program at the UCD medical center. It comes with a stipend and it’s not as well known as COSMOS (in fact, it probably has a higher “admission” rate than COSMOS). I am leaning towards the medical center one because it probably is more focused on research, but I just wanted some advice on what to choose. How valuable is COSMOS? Do you do alot of research at COSMOS? Is it considered an impressive program to be selected into? Thanks!

I would go into the internship because it teaches you more skills and is easier to get research positions if you have experience
