Could I get into Georgia Tech?

I’ll tell you a few major stuff about me:
-wanting to major in biomedical engineering
-enrolled in International Baccalareate (IB)
-GPA unweighted = 3.92

  • class rank: 38/586 (top 6%)
-plays oboe (very well) and many (5) other instruments
-drum major of 215 member marching band (junior AND senior year)
    -district National Honor Society president
-first place in my category at the district science fair
    -lives in Florida
    -father went to Tech
-many other awards of musical performances, community service and leadership
However these are my sat and act scores: (low in my opinion)
    SAT 1240 (out of 1600)
    ACT 27
(Also, I am an extremely hard worker in everything I do.)
    Could I get in?

Biomedical engineering is tough program and you don’t seem to have any ec’s that have to do with science or biomedical engineering also your sat score is far below the average of 1430 your GPA is fine but you seem like you would be headed towards being a music major biomedical engineering is possibility but you could strengthen your case with some research or summer program. IMO you should retake your test and score 32 or 1400 to put yourself in a much better position

@ekymil1 Tech offers conditional acceptance if you have legacy, so I think you might be able to get that.
