When I was in HS in NJ back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, I looked at Bucknell and WF. My parents had lived near Wake when I was a baby, and when we went to see Bucknell they both commented on how much it reminded them of Wake Forest.

im sure that wouldnt have anything to do with jens larson, the architect who shaped the master plans at both bucknell and wake forest (in addition to dartmouth and colby).

Oops, just re-read the original post. Meant to say, "your son or daughter has 3 great choices." Sorry. :-)

No horse in this race, but have friends with kids at all three school. The feedback I received from Bucknell has been more consistently positive, though another friend's kid did not like the Greek scene.

One friend's son is immensely shy and the people at Bucknell have been wonderful to him.

Wake Forest definitely seems to have more southern values. The kid I knew there, excellent student, actually got a D first semester. He was absolutely shocked. But now he works for Time Warner in NYC so it couldn't have been too bad.

Great to have the choice. Congratulations and good luck!

Oh, and I think alternative kids would have the easiest time at Denison if your kid fits into this category.
