I have a few questions about how a counselor fills out the common application. </p>
<p>I am an international student and this is the first time my teacher has ever filled out the common app and she does not know how. Since I can't see the counselor's form, I was wondering what my teacher will need in order to complete the recommendation letter? A copy of my high school transcript? What else?</p>
<p>She also said that a pdf file of my high schools's profile is needed. What exactly is that? What kind of information about my school should be provided?</p>
<p>Both my teacher and I am at a lost here :/</p>

<p>Normally, the high school profile comes from the counselor. It will have such things as number of students, the grading scale, what types and the number of classes are offered, etc. In the states they would state the number of advanced placement and honors courses offered.</p>
<p>Thanks for replying! But my counselor is actually my homeroom teacher and we don’t really have a ‘counselor’ in my school. And as far as we know, we don’t have a school profile. So what are my options here? Thanks again! :)</p>
<p>Contact the school or schools and ask what they would like to see, explaining the fact that you are an international student.</p>
