Countdown and Results Thread for the December SATs.

uh...any1 else got ridiculously low scores?? i got a weird 710 for writing when i expected all correct. =(((((((
same for cr. might not get all correct but should get something close...=(.

Hey suchfools, your score is the same as mine except you beat me on writing by 20 points :)

CR 610
Math 690
Writing 710

Total : 2010

That's only 1300 for CR+Math How important is the writing section? Important I hope because that's by best section.

Is superscoring already in effect? I thought they started next year.

They came out at 2:30 this morning, the full score reports come out on Jan. 5

"Superscore" is the score you get when you take the highest of scores for each of the three sections (if you've taken the reasoning test more than once)

CR 800
M 730
W 710

Total: 2240 CR+M: 1530

Now I need to actually study for next time to try to break 2300...

CR: 790
M: 770
W: 750

Total: 2310, superscore is 2320 since I already have 800 CR. I wasn't expecting my CR to go down but w/e, it makes no difference to my superscore :P

Although I wonder what happened in W, must have been my essay again...

CR: 640
M: 770
W: 700

From:
CR: 680
M: 750
W: 670

For an improvement of.... TEN POINTS!

Superscore: 2150... meh...

CR: 740
M:710
W: 800
Total: 2250

Well it's still good for my first time. Like Lord Ernie I have to actually use my Blue Book to try to break 2300.

I got a freaking 1650, and I KNOW I can do much better. I wish I chose the other place to test, I swear that was THE worst testing center ever. Isn't it against SAT policy to have people sitting directly next to you? I should've cancelled my scores the day after. And the guy was a monster. He kept telling us time when he meant 5 minutes, didn't write start and end times on the board, and he told us to start on the essays before we filled in our name.

2340!! I can now die happy.

120 point increase over my october one... better concentration this time, maybe. (800CR 750M 790W vs 800CR 720M 710W)

2240
M: 720
CR: 730
W: 790

not as good as i'd hoped

730- cr
650- m
630- w

2010 WOOOOT!!1!!

Went from CR: 670 M: 720 W: 630 (8 essay) to CR: 650 M: 750 W: 790 (12 essay). I really feel a sense of regret now thinking how high my scores could have been if I actually studied some vocabulary or did some practice problems ever. Whatever, it was my last test anyway.

670
750
770

2190

really impressed with my writing, not so much math (will get 800 next time as this was my first time taking it)

but someone PLEASE tell me how to improve my 670 CR.. its soo bad and i need 730 to superscore 2300

and a couple of questions

1) do most ivy's superscore? what about stanford and uc berkely
2) 2190 - if for some reason I didn't want to retake, would this score be good enough for uc berkely, stanford (probably not), or any ivy's - assuming by EC's are up to par

First, let's take a moment to acknowledge the fact that we are both part of the December 2190 club. Next, I know that Cornell superscores, I do not know about the others. In addition, if you live in California, your scores will be solid for Berkeley, it will be much harder out of state. If everything else looks good, they should be somewhat okay for Standford/high Ivies and good for the others.

2240
M: 720
CR: 730
W: 790

anglophilia, I got exactly the same score. I'm probably gonna retake to get that 800 math, because I know I can, but I don't mind the CR and writing, not so good at english anyways.

1880 700M 620WR 560CR :.[.... epic fail...

2220--but huge discrepancy between other sections and math.

800 CR
780 W (11 essay)
640 M!

:( I plan to retake after I have practiced my math skills, because obviously I need the brush-up.

2220 Also...

680 Math (:(!)
760 Reading (:/)
780 Writing (:/)
10 Essay
