Countdown til April 1st

2 days, 12 hours, and 37 minutes!

I have a half-day Thursday because it’s Holy Thursday, so I’m considering staying up until 5 am to see my scores. I can just doze off through school. My tennis coach better not give us practice though, because my plan would then be rendered inviable.

I woke up at exactly 5 when I took the SAT on October to check for my scores and I was so disappointed I couldn’t go back to sleep. I’m going to see how long I can go through the day without checking my score.

I plan on waking up at 5 am (if I can even get any sleep! Maybe I’ll wake up earlier just because of nerves). I’m SO anxious/semi-excited, etc. I’m going to visit Yale later that day too, so if I do badly it’s like a slap in the face to walk around a school I’d never get into.

After I see my score, I’ll probably squander in self-pity.

Okay so my score predictions are:
M:690 CR:600 W:500. I figure if I aim low I am bound to not disappoint myself.
Ahhh I can’t even stand the nerves. On Friday I’m visiting Wesleyan so perhaps I’ll have to cancel it when I get back my God awful scores.

Wow, I can really feel all the optimism in this thread.

Predictions:
CR: 780
M: 690
W: 720-780 depending on essay :p

I’m gonna end up getting a 2150 and killing myself…

Do you realize how sadistic you sound? People would kill for that score.

I didn’t work my ass off preparing to get a 2150 though. ;)

Sorry if I came off as pompous. In all seriousness, I wouldn’t be surprised if I got a 2150, knowing my luck haha.

Predictions:
CR 700
Math 770
W 700
2170
■■■. NewAccount, we should make a killing pact…

Haha sounds good to me! :p

I’m mostly worried about my essay score. I filled up both pages, used proper grammar, had good vocabulary, and used one historic example along with a personal anecdote.

It should be an 11 or 12, but I can definitely see myself getting an 8 for some reason. This is quite nerve-wracking.

At least you used two examples! I blanked out during the test and I only used one historical example, but I filled up both pages, with good vocab and grammar and flow. Looking at an 8 also ):

I FAILED my essay. My examples were slightly off-topic. I didn’t really catch until I got home that it was basically asking for a critique of utilitarianism. The examples I used were about the Governor of South Carolina who “caused chaos to erupt by fleeing to Brazil to see his mistress” and a made up personal experience about my basketball captains who believed that because they were captains they could arrive late to the state tournament but they didn’t have enough time to get checked in and thus couldn’t play in the game. My examples didn’t even really pertain to the question. I probably got a 4. This will be very very bad.

Another thought I have is that I’m going to be one of the people who gets their score delayed for absolutely no reason.

Sigh…

my essay sucked too

ran out of time and terrible/bland examples w/little development

If I somehow manage a 10 Ill be happy. I would be thrilled if I got an 11.

Hopefully
CR: 800
Math: 800
Writing: 720-750?

I’m ready to rip my organs out… the anxiety is killing me.

My predictions:
M: 600-700
CR: 600-700
W: 600-700
Total: 1800-2100.

hopefully, 2100. realistically, around 1850-1950.

My prediction:
Math: 750+
CR: 630-670
Writing 610-650

I hope my essay is good, I kinda screwed up and I hate the two-page limit.
