Countdown 'til decisions

nope, we all have that

but i know what you mean

yeah in review..... i keep checking expecting it to change :(

so much for the midnight idea
nothing at UCLA either

yeah .. pretty much.. well atleast tmrw it'l all be over all the teasing from ucb and their random emails.....

It's today guys! Lighten up!

ha yeah .. but man the day is gonna go by so slowwwwwwwwwwwwww

Today there shouldn't be school. Although, I doubt the day would go any faster otherwise.

right.. but i dont have school on friday so im either gonna celebrate or eat everything inside the fridge on friday

16 1/2 hours......

more like 16 hrs and 27 mins

Sorry everyone for causing a stir.

it's all good. ... just gotta wait :o

16 hours, 16 minutes.

16 and 12 min

HAHA!! my little brother is already writing his appeal letter....hahaha. This bs can sure get to your head. Well, at 5pm 3/29/07, the majority of you guys are going to be unhappy....i know it sounds bad but Cal and ucla admit 1 out of 4 applicants. Good Luck Bahenchods!!! and remember hyenas can kill lions lol.

A 25% admittance rate is relatively good here :)

This number ain't so bad once you realize a lot of average UCB-reject garunteed high-school students usually apply to Berkeley as a "lottery" since they can apply to all 9 UC schools with one application. These students are more focused on schools like UCSB and UCD.

Then the rate gets even more optimistic if you realize that we're not afraid of competing against every applicants for UCB, but only against those who also have a great chance at it. If there was some way to count the number of acceptances/rejection vs. applicants, the rate among CC members who applied to UCB would no doubt be MUCH higher than 25%.

Just a thought. Please don't flame or counter me until the evening of March 29, 2007. I want to remain optimistic ;)

anyone think they will spring the info early--- like should we stay up until 12 mid today and check? that's so much better as it's less likely that the server will overload
or are you sure about 5 pm on Thurs?

They do it right at 5PM because that's when they close for the day. This way, the admissions office won't get 500 angry calls as soon as decisions are out.

Last year, the decisions came out on the 31st - which was also a Friday, so parents had to wait until Monday to yell at people.

will there be an email sent to us showing us where to log in? if not can someone please post the link to the site that we can check if we got in or not? thanks!

yah. I don't have school today and things aren't going by any faster..

they already sent out a few emails with login instructions

https://students.berkeley.edu/myberkeley/myberkeleyapp.asp

there are a few steps, so i'd suggest trying to log in before 5pm
