Countdown to BS

i think that would be the scariest thing ever. circumnavigating in a kayak. haha i’d freak!

Hahahaha, did you guys hear about that girl who is trying to sail around the world alone (http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/news/world/stories/DN-sailor_11int.ART.State.Edition1.29cb75b.html)? You could try something like that :)

i couldn’t find it! but i’m scared of open seas. haha it’s pretty sad! but i do kayak when i can, it’s a lot of fun.

i just noticed that you’re from st. mark’s! my brother’s going to the school across the street from you this fall. haha!

I’m flying up there 2 days before school starts; a 24 hour car drive is not my idea of fun. I wonder if right at this very moment they are deciding what dorm I’m going to be in…

hahahah, yeah, I’m pretty scared of open seas also :)

:0 really?!?! I start this fall!!! I can’t wait  what school does he go to? Mary E. Finn or Fay school? - I think those are the closest schools, but I might be wrong.

I love open seas! What are ya’ll talking about? Haha(:

I’m nervous about my roommate! I hope we can get along…

I’m so excited for Exeter! But I hate how we have to wait until like the last minute to find out about dorms and roommates. I’m flying like a week before school starts so I can spend time with some of my family that lives on the East Coast.

Kayaking would get soo tiring! lol

^same!!! I won’t find out who my roommate is until I get there :frowning: I just hope he’s not…weird or anything…I just hope we get along :)

My friend is at a boarding school, and she doesn’t get along with her roommate at all… All they ever do is complain about each other. They don’t shower at the right time, their ringtone is annoying… blahblahblah… I hope I don’t end up like that.

^^I hope your roommate is a weirdo who just stares at bugs all the time and spout entomological facts all the time. also, i hope he’s totally socially awkward.

OR

even better. I hope he’s a super jock who’s entirely inconsiderate and super popular. Hope he stays out all hours and makes you do all his work. Think Stradlater from Catcher in the Rye. ;)

sarcasm in case you didn’t catch it ;)

BHHAHAHHAH- oh god, that would be horrible. And yes, your sarcasm was dully noted :)

@ josh, he’s going to fay as an eighth grader until ninth grade, and then he’ll hopefully apply to some prep schools from there!

i’m so scared for my roommate, haha. i hope she isn’t a jerk. or too clingy.

kayaking IS crazy tiring! but it’s nice to just float at sea sometimes when you get tired. and then you realize you still have so much farther to paddle. haha. my biggest fear is capsizing on a kayak where i can’t get up. UGH. scary.

RAd, I don’t want you as my roommate! :D

Sarcasm RAdinPlaid Rocks my sox off (though I’m not wearing any)!!

^Rad, I don’t only hope that my roommate stares at bugs. I hope that she collects bugs and puts them on my face while I sleep to study their behavior on human skin.

That would be hilarious.

Rad make sure you pretend to be that kid who likes bugs if you go to PEA next year.

I could picture that.
Victim: Um, hey.
Rad: stares
Victim: Hello?
Rad: MY SCOLOPENDRA GIGANTEA HAS 42 LEGS!!!
Victim: …
Rad: You wanna see? reaches into pocket and pulls out huge centipede Here! throws it at victim
Victim: faints

btw, a scolopendra gigantea is the scientific name of this gargantuan centipede…

Leaving in about 20 something days… pre season tennis. I’m thinking that I’ll get to know the campus, make some friends, and get somewhat used to it all during those two weeks. Exited. But not as exited as I thought I would be. It’s kind of subsided into a “mellow exitement”. “Yeah, I’m boing to boarding school… It’s cool…”. That kind of thing. So great to finally be taking a step into thw world after all those apps…

^agreed. M!0 madness has left.
