^ go away ■■■■■.

Ahh most nervewracking week of my life. Good luck to everyone who applied!

Just out of curiosity, have any of you given any thought to the order in which you’ll read your decision emails? I haven’t decided if I’m going to open the most likely to be accepted schools first, or the most unlikely to be accepted schools first.

I don’t have a particular order in mind.

I think there’s a pretty good discussion on email-open order over on the Princeton forums.

I’m planning on going from just my top choice school to my least favorite schools…so ya probably in a manner that goes from really selective to least selective schools. Even though, I believe last year, Havard sent our their decision email to people in waves periodically throughout the day. I could be wrong about that though. Anyway my order is:

Princeton, Stanford, Harvard, Wharton, Yale, Dartmouth, Duke, Brown

I’ll read them in order they arrive. This is, of course, logical.

,O___O

wow… less than 7 days till we find out

More like 6 days, 5 hours or so. Yeah.

Good luck, everyone.

Best of luck to all of this year’s applicants! :D

The next four days will be nerve-wracking; there’s just no way around it. But you know you all are amazing, right? You know you all are going to get into some phenomenal colleges and universities, the least of which 99% of applicants would consider their “dream” school, right? You know that the excellence and success you’ve shown for the last dozen years is going to continue throughout the rest of your lifetimes, right? Don’t lose sight of that over the next week. :)

yah, GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!! can’t believe it’s so soon! but everything will work out for the best, i’m sure :)

Thank you gadad. I’ll remember that when I go through my self-flagellation as a punishment for getting rejected for several schools next week.
I got into some good schools, but no $. So no Harvard = CUNY flagship program. Stupid me.

Regardless of the eventual results, many will find great satisfaction in the college that they ultimately attend and could not have imagined enrolling elsewhere.

@mifune You’re optimistic. I think there’s a difference between great satisfaction and contentment.

Really? I treat the two as synonymous.

May Tsen be with you, Class of 2014. bows head solemnly

Interesting thought . . . this is from the “Free Online Dictionary”:

con·tent·ment (k n-t nt m nt). n. 1. The state of being contented; satisfaction. 2. A source of satisfaction

I am so relaxed about Harvard decisions :D
