Countdown to Decision Day... 3, 2, 1...

April 1st is going to be a big day for ah-lot of people, good luck everybody I’m sure it’ll all work out in the end!

you should be pigs… you’ve gotten in everywhere else

Hi everyone!

I’ve always been really intimidated of the Harvard forum… Its really hard to get excited about a school that rejects 93-94% of its applicants haha

Anyway! I’m so anxious for next week’s decision.

I’ve gotten in to a few schools this week (and last). If Harvard accepts me, that would make the choosing process much much much easier! ( : I wish everyone lots and lots of luck!

deep cleansing breaths

@ ocgirl92:

hello my fellow californian… we need to leave our state ASAP, its going broke :P

@neonseri - I totally feel you haha.

I don’t align with the GOP (like 80% of the time), but Meg Whitman’s looking pretty good right about now.

I got into Stanford yesterday… so if Harvard doesn’t want me, looks like I’m staying. I just wish it was April 1st already!

lol. me too. i love meg whitman…
although, she cant solve CA’s problems alone…
we do need a state constitutional overhaul to avoid the gridlocks.

anyways… congrats with stanford… i got denied there via their early decision program…

,O_O

,

I also got rejected from Stanford. So many amazing people I know got rejected, which just brings into perspective how smart the people who get in are.

That…or how arbitrary the admissions process is at a whole. In all honesty Anonymous, you may be the most academically qualified person I’ve ever seen.

^ Or christiansoldier… xP

But yea I agree. Very very arbitrary.

^Yeah, but Anon seems like a much nicer person. I’d want Anon to be in the dorm next to me. Not christiansoldier.

^Hey, christian is a very nice person! maybe his opinions differ from yours, but he has been nothing but courteous, and I think he has a great sense of humor

^Really? It seemed to me like he was being a little mean on the MIT subforum a couple weeks ago. But I don’t really know him. He just seems a little contentious.
We’ve never talked, so I have no idea if his opinions differ from mine. [giveup].

All of my correspondence with christiansoldier has indicated that he is genuinely nice (as well as witty), despite the disagreements he occasionally gets in. I have only briefly talked with Anonymous, but she seems very dedicated and, certainly, highly qualified.

@millancad- oh sorry, I thought you were one of the people who argued with him about SAT scores

he’s very intelligent, and hardworking but also perfectionist (his SAT and subject scores are ridiculous…and the sheer volume…my god)

Yes, 2400 on the SAT and 6*800 on the Subject Tests (if I recall correctly) is quite impressive.

Earth hour guys! Laptops running with batteries!

^ I will not comment on Earth Hour and its merits/demerits.

However, how did Anon NOT get into Stanford? 6 800s is truly impressive. I wish you luck this coming Thursday.

Oh, I was referring to christiansoldier when I cited the six 800’s; he was accepted at Stanford. Anonymous, however, was indeed rejected.

omg… poor anonymous… I was rejected as well, however its ok, I think I like the east coast better  and everything happens for a reason… LUCK FOR APRIL FIRST
