Countdown to DECISION DAY!!!

Does TOEFL count for anything at all if you got an abysmal SAT verbal…just wondering. (International)

So are we going to literally do countdowns to midnight before decisions come out…and post “omg. accepted!” and “rejected:(” like the other decisions threads? :)

Decisions don’t come out on midnight

maybe for her, she’s in china

two things…first, to katy: i dont know about anybody else, but i am definitely counting down!

also, it is official, i just talked to a friend applying to dartmouth ed, and their decisions will be posted on the 8th…sounds like we’re going to know pretty soon!

^ it differs from school to school, doesn’t it?

WOW, SO IT’S most likely SOMETIME NEXT WEEK…that is so soon! a month went by really quickly!

I just had a thought. I know, I even surprised myself : ). Corniness aside, I read a post a few pages back claiming we’d get our e-mails (the ones that reveal d-day) on monday. Said they called the admissions office to confirm this. If that’s the case, are we looking at Wednesday? I seem to remember from the 2013 thread that decisions are posted two days after the e-mails are sent. Then again, they do seem partial to thursdays.

Wow, now we’re the only early ivy league school that doesn’t know our D Day yet.

^ i feel so special and elite.

if we don’t know when d-day is yet, doesnt that kinda mean that decisions will revealed later than those from other unis?

Not necessarily. Dartmouth found out second to last, yet they’re getting decisions before anyone.

hope not >.<

All this waiting around is just… weird. I know rejected or not my life isn’t over, but seriously day and night all I can think about is the day we get our results back. I wonder if they’ve already looked at my application and decided my fate. :p

mrmanager: I know! I feel the same way… I can’t eat, sleep, do work, or anything else – without thinking about D-day!

hey guys, try this: list or think about the GOOD things that would come from a rejection. i did this the other day and i feel at peace… sorta

if you’re really paranoid about the wait, just start thinking of your second choice and obsess with it to no end. right now, i am thinking of all the cool things i could do at brown

Then when do decisions come out, midday or 9 o’clock? I know I’ll be rejected so I’m not really worrying.

But, for some strange reason I can’t focus on the common app either.

@saltyballs
Good idea!
And…nice name…by the way…

Katy3028: Haha, ditto! I know I need to start on my other apps, but I just can’t. :(

By the way, your location says Beijing, China. Do you go to an international school too, then? ISB? WAB?

No. And that’s the infuriating part. I had to fly all the way to Hong Kong to take my SATs. Are you in Beijing too? I’m pretty much completely Chinese, so I had no problem attending a public school:) Where do you go to school? I have a friend at BCIS:) I live near WAB tho:)
